I am posting about Mint.com today for two reasons: (1) I’ve been reading a lot about it lately, and (2) I am generally FOR online money management tools (especially if they are FREE!). From what I’ve seen, Mint.com can help you do more with your money. It tracks your finances in real time, gives you alerts when you exceed budgeted amounts, and pinpoints ways to save more - all in one easy to use interface. I especially like the Mint apps that allow you to track your finances on the go. Now that I have my “Droid” I have to have all my apps to go with it!
I think it is worth checking out – especially since it is FREE! I am fortunate that I have a rather “anal” husband who tracks every dime coming in and going out on Quicken. However, I’m thinking this little tool will help me personally manage household expenses.
