Stop & Shop shoppers, have you noticed your local store’s shelves looking a little ”orange” these days? Stop & Shop recently re-introduced its Guaranteed Value product line with a new look, new products and lower prices to help its customers save more at the register.
According to Stop & Shop, Guaranteed Value products offer customers more ways to take care of the essentials without busting their budgets. The new orange and white packaging features a clean, energetic new look that is easy to find as you shop their aisles.
You’ll also find a wide variety of Guaranteed Value products - macaroni and cheese dinners, candy, 3 liter soft drinks, baking mixes, dry dog and cat food, juice drinks, cookies, snacks, and nuts, just to name a few (with many more on the way!).
Like many shoppers, I regularly purchase store brand vs. name-brands. I rhink most of the time they’re just as good as the name brands, and they cost a lot less - on average 20 to 25 percent less. In fact, Stop & Shop has dropped the prices on many items throughout the Guaranteed Value line. Over 80 items are $1 or less, and more than 100 items are $2 or less!

I wish I could have gotten a photo of the gift pack. While I was out of the room the husband cracked open the package of cookies and handed them out to the kids who thought this was quite a treat. I will tell you this – there were no complaints from them, that is for sure! My daughter got into the box of Frosted Flakes (since I don’t regularly buy them) and that was that. I have to say I thought the Guaranteed Value Frosted Flakes tasted a lot less sugary than other brands. That’s not a bad thing.
I personally got a chance to check out the oregano and the garlic powder which were both perfect to me. I’m going to crack open the Cling Peaches tomorrow at breakfast. Do they still call these things “cling peaches?” So 1950′s! OK, I also had a couple of cookies. Yeah, they were good.
