My husband handles the finances of the house, however, I do the shopping. So I am going to make sure I stock up on things when they are on sale instead of just buying them when we run out. That should cut back on some spending which in turn save us money. They the money will stay in our pockets and make us more with intrest. Also make sure I am only buying things we need instead of extras we really don't need.

I plan to start an excel spreadsheet to track my spending and saving. I plan on having a separate column for store savings and coupon savings to really identiy how much coupon clipping can help a family budget.

I'm planning on starting an excel spreadsheet to track my spending and savings. I intend to have different columns listing the store savings and coupon savings and rebates.

I plan on starting tracking my finances better and place all my bills on auto pay according to my budget. I have a wedding I need to save up for so I need to get cracken.

I started couponing this year and I saved so much money that I would have just thrown away! In 2010, I want to become more organized with my coupons so I don't accidently miss one when I am at the store. I also plan on putting the money I save away so my husband and I can buy a house.

This year has been my best year yet for saving money. I have always used coupons and only bought things on sale but since I was introduced to wicked cool deals, I have saved even more. Next year I will track my savings better coupon savings vs store discount savings etc. I will also try not to buy things that I don't really need or want but sometimes buy because they are on sale. I will also pay better attention to expiration dates so that I do not need to throw anything away.

I just became a fan on facebook.

In 2010, I will be using more coupons, cutting back on social outings, inviting friends over, and finding great things on freecycle.

I plan on paying off credit card bills and saving more money. I think my new years resolution will be not to buy anything without a coupon. I've tried an it's a challenge!

We have decided to live at least the first six months (hopefully all 12 months) of next year as if we are newly married and broke! We are challenging ourselves to spend no money on uneccessary items, but still have fun with the kiddos and go on a date monthly. We are hoping this will help us to save a tremendous amount of money to cushion our emergency fund.

I plan to keep following the Dave Ramsey plan... we too the classes in Feb-May 2009 and since then have been able to pay down nearly $18,000! We have about $11K non mortgage debt to go and we want it gone by the middle of 2010. I have to keep on my toes with grocery spending and whatnot so that we can reach this goal :) It's been fun trying to be thrifty!

I plan to create a spreadsheet to track all purchases. I tried mint.com but want to be able to track each item instead of the total receipt. I also want to be able to track how much I am saving with all the coupons and deals I am learning from you!

In 2010 I plan on shopping smarter using coupons. I started using coupons this year and went a little crazy. So I plan on buying things when on sale that i use and not just because I have a coupon and it's a good deal!

I always go over in my discretionary budget. So, I'm going to try to use cash instead of cards next year for my discretionary spending.

My dad wrote a book, www.iounomore.com

I learned a lot from it. I am hoping it will help us a lot this year with our budget etc.
