I was just wondering I noticed you use a lot of coupons at Target for the travel size items and even though the coupons don't say they exclude the travel size does the register beep when they scan the coupons? I did this the other day and the coupons did not exclude travel size but the registered beeped on all of them. Is this normal?

Sometimes the coupon will beep. However, I explain to the cashier that the coupon clearly does not specify a size and then they ring it right through. On the rare instance where the cashier gives me a hard time, I just don't buy it!

I have looked over the list and did not see a $0.50/1 Starkist coupon. The only one on your link is $1.00/3 pouches. Am I missing it? Thanks!

Does anyone think the J&J $1 Q will work on buddies bars???
*got my fingers crossed!*

Michelle said...

It will absolutely work! I have about 15 buddies in my bathroom closet to prove it. And my "baby" is 3!

KD - I ran into this at my Target and when they resisted, I simply asked that the discount the amount of the item rather than the full coupon value. For the Target-issued coupons, she was willing to do this but not for the Manufacturer coupons.
For example, the travel-size item was $0.97 and the coupon was for $1.00 so it would beep when scanned. She then keyed in the coupon value as $0.97 and it went through fine.

Good point Patti. The store policy at most places is to adjust the coupon down. I had this issue with CVS today. The clerk wouldn't give me my free Reece's peanut butter cup! Can you believe it? They were $.50 and my coupon was $.55 off. She then said she could adjust it down to $.40. What's up with that? Hence the problem - the clerk's have no idea about adjusting down coupons.

Thanks for this great list!

I found another deal that I'd love to share ...

Don't forget about Listerine. I went to Target yesterday to use my BOGO coupons from a few weeks ago for the kids Listerine. They had the Big bottles plus bonus travel size packs. They were $3.99 each, but so were the regular ones. I grabbed 4 of the bonus packs. PLUS- Target has $1 off 1 Listerine coupons that can be stacked. 4 Listerine plus 4 travel size for $6. Wow!

Then here's a secret tip I learned yesterday. The Hasbro coupon CAN be used on the Cranium Preschool games which are only $9.99 Hurry before they figure it out! I got Puppy Bingo for $5.00 just because it was a good deal. It is in my "store," which is my hall closet filled with stock of bonus items, future christmas or birthday gifts, etc. Hey, if there's ever a family in crisis, it only takes me a few minutes to pull together a great care package! God gave us our really good dealfinding brains for a reason :)

G scented oil tins are on sale for 3/$5 or $1.66 each - they have the $1.50 off q inside the top of the lid - making them 16cents each! I got 8 this morning... would have gotten more, but the other 20 or so tins had no coupons left! Grr!

Whoops - G = glade he he he!

Awesome! My freezer is full of milk, my pantry is full of nutrigrain bars (did that deal 7 times!) ... I have 15 new baby bottle for the new baby, and if we end up not liking them, I'm not out any money. Got 6 more glade tins and used the Q's off coupons.com (90210 zip code) for a free refill pack when you buy one tin... only thing I'm bummed about is our store is out of stock of BUDDIES! Argh! Seems J&J caught on to all the free buddies flying off the shelves so I was hoping to stock up with this coupon, but I'm not holding out hope that the shelf will refill before the Q expires :(
